Question PVC Glue ?

I am using schedule 40 & 80 fittings and Flex PVC. Is teflon tape good enough on the threaded fittings?

I do not think that you need much eqiupment to culture them. I thank a small 5-10gl tank, air pump, and a heater if necessary. Oh yea and a shop light.
