Why did you choose Nano over a larger tank?

It would be helpful to hear the reasons you chose a nano vs say a 75 gal or higher?

Cost?

Easier to Maintain?

Space?

Better to start small to learn then upgrade?

I was with LexisNexis for 15 years servicing all size firms and from what I experienced stay in the smaller firms. Nothing but office politics, longer hours and a lot less fun in the larger firms.

After reading this thread and others on the dreaded Mantis, why not just fresh dip all TBS rock when it arrives with the purpose of looking for any Mantis?
