so i got an email that sharkys just updated their online store and will be doing so more in the future. so i guess this means they arent gone, just dont have a storefront.

looks like it just closed up for the night. mine do that every once in a while. sometimes they stay open, sometimes they close up tight, you never know.

i just set up a 5 gallon tank that has similar dimensions. mines 24 x 8 x 7. i got a 2 bulb t5 retro which im thinking should let me keep anything.

the candys will put out sweepers that will sting the zoas if htey get too close but i dont know what the zoas will do to the candy if theyre touching it, probably nothing.

in my experience they grow extremely slowly...

in my experience they grow extremely slowly without regular feedings. all of them have feeder tentacles, look at night. id recommend just leaving it alone and feeding it for a month or so and see...

i dont think the zoas will do anything to the candy cane but the candy will put out sweepers that will put a hurtin on the zoas if they hit them.

i just have 2 astreas in my 2.5 and they do a pretty good job. the only thing i dont like is that they knock over all my frags that arent glued down.

old orchard has them for 8, most other places charge 20 or 25 that ive seen. i got one from old orchard for 8 that had two mouths and has since split once and still has three mouths.
