You can but when your SPS start getting bigger you will be dosing alot.Remember ups and downs are bad stable is the best.Thats what is nice about a reactor.

Alk is very high and when they die from the roots up thats the first sign.Try some turbo Cal and if your running a Cal reactor turn off the C02 till the Alk drops

I dont know about that, Mike Lenards(Acro Nut) Ph is 7.8 at night and 8.0 in the day.Check out his tank of the month.He is the only one I know that can grow SPS that fast.

Your lights are to close 8-12 inches from the top...
Your lights are to close 8-12 inches from the top of your water to the center of your bulb,and thats for a 24 inch deep tank.Your risking bleaching your corals.

If you are going with SPS I would also recommend Wrasses.They will protect you from worms and any acro eating parasite
