tetra would need at least an airstone and preferable a small filter as they are not the best fish for life in a bowl. bettas are definitely a better choice

yes it is normal for sps to grow over the disk, it's just establishing a base and will start branching afterwards.

i'm pretty sure those were dragon pipefish, Corythoichthys haematopterus. they generally do better in very large tanks with lots of liverock since they mostly eat pods, i haven't really heard of too...
