I believe certain trash cans are treated with a mildewcide which could have poisoned your livestock. Thats why I always use food grade containers.

Yup, or like I saw at a restaurant recently where they had a 22" Arrowana in a 18" wide tank. The poor sucker had to bend itself in half to turn around!

Only had this up and running just over a year and its still like new. Other than the wood and brushed aluminum facing its all glass construction so there's not much that can wear out.
