So i have been wanting to upgrade my skimmer on my 60g, but I have height restricitons. I only have 22" to work with. I need a skimmer that will fit under 22" and can still have the collection cup...

Maybe a 150/250w metal halide with t-5ho/t-12vho actinic supplementation. Could do all t-5's or even just the halide if you wanted to. You could buy a pre built fixture or put one together yourself.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "floodlight", but if is has a reflector its likely much more efficient than the normal cf spiral bulb.
