Thanks for the link. I think I have it figured out. The guy I got it from said they were only used on a 55 or 45 watt bulb. I guess the guy was just wasn't using all their avaliable power.

I had no intentions of keeping them like that. The purchaser had an emergency arise and I tried to do what I could to keep them alive. With the holidays and work, they just got put on the back burner...

I dont think its was anything in the tank that killed them. I think it was 30 or so crabs occupying the a 10X10 inch space.

I am dripping Kalk when I remember to. I use probably a gallon a night....

somewhat. I caught the 8yo Maddie looking at it for no apparent reason. I was able to get the camera and snap a picture without her noticing. Of course as soon as she saw me, she went into her room....
