please do not get rid of hair algae by under feeding your tank inhabitants. Try not switching on the lights for a couple or days or three, it works much better for all.

I don't think there is a problem mixing different...
I don't think there is a problem mixing different LRs. Rather it is what can come with the LRs, bothersome critters etc.

Tank has been up almost 2 months. I would like to take out the LRs and re do scaping. Taking out the rocks and putting them back will it cause a nitrate or ammonia spike ?
