little white dots....

they're all over my rocks, snails and crab shells. What are they? (I'm sure it's not from my new Frogspawn

Any ideas? They just flick right off when I scrape....

Reef and Fin said it could be the start of tube worms???

I'm thinking snail eggs....

-------------

How is everyone, BTW? I haven't been on the site for a while.

No pics, huh? Maybe we'll just have to come visit your tank and see for ourselves.

I haven't mastered taking shots of the tank. Sorry. I have to figure out how to take macro photos.

Anyway, no. They're all about the same size. Maybe I should just let them grow and find out what they become? They don't seem to be on the LR or coral, but just on the glass, hermit crab and snail shells.

I get them all the time, but just on my backwall and sometimed on my powerheads. I've never had a problem with them and never have tried to research them, but someone once told me they were beeficial.

All the snail eggs I've ever had in my tank looked like a figure 8 weave and were more of a true white than the dots. Usually they become a food source for the crabs, etc.

Sounds like spirorbis tube worms. They'll come and go in big numbers.

What I have is that size, but a bit more of a bump (raised) than just a flat dot, and not on the rock.
