Lighting a FOWLR

What lighting is needed? Standard, PC, VHO, T-5?

Just stocking fish, live rock, hermit crabs, and snails.

I never have thought of having a fish only tank. Now I have the bug, there are fish I would love to keep but, are not reef safe.

I would love to get away with normal output flourescents. Please help!

What are you running? Pics would be great!

Tom

With just LR, you can do PC lighting and still have nice growth of life on the rock. I wouldn't go anything more, though. It would just be overkill, IMO.

normal output fluros may just do the job, however live rock wont flourish and the tank wont look too great. if i were you i would go VHO, PC's or T5s.

T5's are nice. energy efficient and give the tank a nice glow
