Here are my thoughts on getting a pinpoint controller (which I have one). Why buy a pinpoint for almost $200 when you can get a Aquacontroller jr or a reefkeeper 2 that can do so much more.

Granted some people will say that the stand alone PH controllers have less likely chance of failing or getting corrupt due to the all in one controllers being software based. I have been running my AC3 for awhile and never had a problem. Just save up for the all inone controller instead of buying the same thing twice like I did. Just my .02

sry to butt in but how long do milwaukee ph probes last?? and how much do they cost to replace as oppose to getting the cheaper pinpoint... how long do those probes last and cost??

i would like to get a millwaukee i think... the controller one.. but not till a long time.. do you think they are as needed for a ca/rx reactor as people say??
