Not nessesarily unless he has a premium account... if he has a personal account... there are no fees.

Check your Payment here: Group Order Table

Seamac2, Cash is King. Thanks for stopping by. And we've got seven people paid by paypal so we're over half way there. I've updated the link above to show payments made.

Thanks for thinking about the fees, but please don't send more than what shows on the table. I don't believe there are any fees for these types of transactions.

Here's the deal. With my basic PayPal account I can "Receive payments funded by PayPal Balance, PayPal Instant Transfer or PayPal eCheck" for free. (If you use a credit card, then there are some stiff percentages they take. More importantly, they only allow a small handful of credit card transactions per year with a basic account. If even only a few of this group order was paid by credit card it would wipe me out for the year.)

For those of you who have already paid more than owed, I'll give you cash when you come to pick up. Please remind me.

marc price, I added your scarlet hermits. Nerites must be ordered in multiples of six. I've reduced my order by four and added four for you.

If anybody has more ceriths than they really want, marc price I believe might be interested.

Fraggin was also looking for 50 CERITH and 10 Nassarius if anyone wants to cut a deal on the side.

And with that, I think the store is closed.

Group Order Table

We're doing pretty well with the money. Just a few left to go. If PayPal is impossible for you, I've arranged at work for them to accept a credit card for me (it may add a buck or two to cover the percentage charged by the credit card company). Give me a call and I'll give you the number to call.

Emc2 realized that pickup was going to be a hassle. She paid even though she knew she wasn't going to pick up - didn't want to screw up the numbers. Very considerate. I crossed off a couple of items, and redistributed a few to some people who were short.

If someone needs a dozen Nassarius, that would balance her order out completely.

ALan, I would take a couple extra sand stirrers too, if needed.

Alan, I'm sending payment now.

By the way, I got the Astreas to round out the total. If anyone wants any, you can take them off my hands at cost. I'm currently allotted 51 Astreas.

I just found out that I have to leave tomorrow morning to Los Angelos and won't return till Saturday morning. So, I'm going to bail out of this order as I don't want the stock waiting for 3 days till I return. As I haven't paid Alan as of yet, I'm hoping some of you want extra stock. I have:

51 Astreas
24 Nass.
4 ricordia

The ricordia has no impact on the order so no worries there. The astreas and nass do.

This is all assuming Alan hasn't put in the order...

OK Angel. Ricordia is crossed off.

Nassarius comes in lots of 50. I got rid of your 24, Emc2's 12 (she's whole now for a full refund) and I took 14 out of my order just to get it balanced.

Don't know how to handle the Astreas. A round lot is 300.

If anybody got more Nassarius than they really wanted, I only have four left on my order, so I would take some more (just not 50 more!).

Hey, I would take some Nassarius for sure - wanted to add them but decided not to mess up the order.

And I would also be willing to remove or add some Astreas as well. Let me know!

Bryan,

If we add 50 Nassarius, plus my 4, we can split 54 for 27 each.

I'm guessing Ribs might knock of 23 astreas (I think he picked them up earlier to help balance). If you got rid of 28, that would work.

Ribs?

I had already gone up on the astreas, more would be pushing it I think.
If you happen to re-add the nassarious to round up the order I'd take about 10 of those to alleviate things. If not, no biggie.

EDIT: Sure, Remove the 20 astrea or so, whatever is needed to round things out.

My screw-up. Astreas work in 300 or 600 lots. We need to make up (add) 51 or lose 249.

I will add 50 Nassarius. 10 for you (only if you want them), the rest for me an Bheron.

ok 25 more astrea. But thats it! LOL. I'll put them in the new stock tank going in.
With that.....If you guys want all 50 nassarius I wouldn't mind passing on the 10 of them. Either way lets just get it in on time

Apologies for the "clear" time on Paypal. It shoulda just come out of the bank account but something went askew.

Angel has 51 astrea's that he's trying to unload. Ribs said he would take 25 of them, but he already stepped up for 25 earlier.

So Ribs would probably be happy if we could find another home for the 51 astreas. Otherwise, Ribs will take 25, leaving 26 left to find a home for.

Just heard from jjakes24 so we should be in good shape there.

Hey, you have me listed for only 12 astreas. I originally wanted 24, so don't know what happened there. If people have extra, I can take 12 more.

jjakes24, we'll move 12 astreas from aquanut6 to your column for a total of 24.

That leaves 39 astreas that aquanut would be happy to part with. Any takers?

Let me get the order in, and a confirmation back on the pricing. I figure if there's any settling up, it shouldn't be that much and we can take care of it on Thursday.

By the way, I spoke to reeftopia today, and they say I should get the shipment sometime around 10:30am. I figure I'll be home by noon if people want to do an early pickup during the day.

Krikor, you are at 120 astreas

Jay4Robin, you are at 55 astreas

Aquanut6, you're down to zero. Enjoy your trip to the Left coast!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The order is in. Grand total was $1,230 before the 10% discount. Not bad for DVRC's first group order.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday. As soon as the shipment arrives I will post it here. I'm figuring pickups can start around noon.

Everyone should have my address and phone numbers sent by PM a couple days ago. If not, PM me and I will get it to you.

I expect everything should be packed separately. Just to be safe, you might want to bring an extra container. Also, some sort of insulated cooler might be a good idea to keep your critters comfortable for the ride home.

There will be a little accounting to do. Shrimp were a little less expensive at $2.00 each instead of $2.50. Astreas averaged out to $.43 instead of $.42. Nothing major, but I'll have change on Thursday to settle up.
