Rooster Fairy Wrasse

Anyone have any info on these?

It's either Paracheilinus cyaneus or Paracheilinus lineopunctatus

Have not seen the picture but that (inapporopriate) common name suggests that SDguy is correct.

Really? Never heard that but then again I don't normally use the common names as they are somewhat ambiguous at times.

I have yet to see the name Rooster Fairy Wrasse, and that fish is not a fairy but a flasher (Paracheilinus). My money is on lineopunctatus.

They seem to have several odd names for their wrasses there.....

Though I've never heard the name, I can easily see it being called that. Frankly, when people see mine, they say "What's the fish with the rooster crest on it?"

common names suck. I think any retailer worth their weight would use the latin.
