Puffer Died

I bought a burrfish on Tues. that has been doing well except for it got ich. I took it out and treated it with medicine yesterday. Today when I turned on the light the ich was almost gone but he was gasping and his eyes were white. This has really upset me especially since other fish and corals look good. Does anyone know what may have happened?

P.S.: I used Kordon's Aquarium Rid Ich in a bath

that pretty much sums it up. do a search and you'll know how effective it is. you should also seriously look at quarantine - it isn't really optional in this hobby. . .

your burrfish wasn't getting better - that is the normal lifecycle of crypto...
