20 pods in a bottle? that's not how it's supposed to be. is the bottle still sealed inside(kinda like when you buy a medicine, there is a tamper seal under the cap) it should have close to 500 pods in there. where'd ys got it from?

Tiger pods are good.

I've never seen a good bottle of pods. 20 is alot compared to what I've seen...

Communicate with Reefnutrition.com. "Kathy" there is a nice person and has always been excellent in such situations. Sometimes something gets through quality control and shouldn't: they stand behind their product.

I've never seen a highly populated bottle of Tiger Pods. They are just a starter culture for your fuge.

I am waiting for a call or email back from Reef Nutrition myself. I ordered 3 bottles of tigger pods from them and they only sent me one. The one I got had maybe 50 pods in it. They claimed 500.

It was the begining of last week this happened too and I have yet to hear from them...

http://www.floridapets.com has copepods... kind of expensive but should breed in your tank better than tiger pods which I have heard don't reproduce well. They also have cheap shipping since we are east of the mississippi.

why all the fuss about tigger pods any way, your system naturally will produce tons of good pods & critters anyway, all for free!

I have been threatening to make a trip down to Inland Aquatics one of these days, maybe next weekend. When I do, I'll let you know. You can ride along or I can pick up some stuff for you, but IA is the best place IMO for pods and reef critters. Well, second best. The best place is a little place out west on Route 23 where you can mooch critter filled sand and algae off of the guy.
