Let me know what you guys think, I am running, a standard berlin sump, with refugium, no additives other than weekly 25% water changes, I will have some more pictures up, tomorrow, these pictures were taken on 6/20/07.

As of now, this system, has no supplimentation, other than weekly water changes.

Thank you guys for the comments, it’s greatly appreciated, I actually do large water changes because of the bio load, its a 90g 3X2X2 gal with a 40g sump. I do heavy feedings of a mixed diet, with a different regiment every day. I make sure to match the alkalinity, temperature, and salinity. I guess you could say my technique is more about import and export. I adopt browned out pieces from local fish store, since they are about half the price or less and I color them up. Ill have some before and after pictures up shortly. I hate the fact that when they loose there color, they usually get discarded or just thrown into sumps, by local fish stores. It is such a waste. More pictures to come. Everyone on here inspires me, and I thank the entire hobbyist on here who provide all the information necessary to have a successful reef tank. More pictures to come. Feel free to ask any questions.

The first picture is a "Latin" (Naso) vlamingi or just Vlamingi Tang, and the second tang is a Yellow eye "Spotted Yellow Eye Kole Tang" or Ctenochaetus trunctatus. I use Selcon, Garlic, and fresh food daily. I have noticed great coloration increase in my Scotts Fairy Wrasse, any all of my other fish as well with this product. I also feed live brine once a week, which is gut-loaded with a pre-soaked version of cyclopeeze, phytoplex, rotifers, and my vitamins and supplements. I have found that using a wide variety of of food, along with plenty of Spiriulina and Veggies, has proven to given the best coloration in my experience.

Have any hobbyist experience a Kole nipping at SPS? Mine is starting to. Any feed back would be great. I think it’s due to my glass being so clean constantly, that he is either bored, or starving, but I feed him three times a day, of mixed spirulina and other substitutes…

Yeah there is, the Macro is horrible, I am shooting from 12 feet away and utilizing the zoom over the macro, the macro is really bad, I need to upgrade the lense. It is a Powershot S3IS hence the bad shots, this camera takes ok scene shots, 12X zoom, but for macro its terrible, I am in the process of getting a new camera. Also could be the pilot not the plane...
