I am starting to look into a controller for my reef in progress. What would most of you recomend. I was thinking ac jr. I would need it to run my heater, lights, powerheads, and possibly a reactor after the first of the year. I was looking intp ranco but they only run heaters correct?

The AC Jr. is a good one. It can do the things you say you want it to. You are right, the Ranco is just heater or heater & chiller/fans. It is dedicated and industrial grade. As long as you are looking at the low end controller market, take a look also at the Reefkeeper 2 (Digital Aquatics) and the Premium Aquatics Lighthouse. They each have different things in their favor.
