dangers with switching salts...?

Just wondering if there are any dangers with switching salts, i'm going from IO to Reef Crystals and would just like to know if there is anything i need to do to prep the tank for the switch....

there for the most part the same salt, rc just has higher levels

I recently switched from IO to RC and didn't see a noticeable difference either way, but it's only been a month or so.

I switched form IO to RC cold turkey with no il effects...
