Best way to sell tank?
Whats the best way to go about selling a nano setup?
I'm getting tired of hauling the tank back and forth from school, and honestly I just dont pay that much attention to it any more. Would it be best to try and sell the entire setup, or to break it down and sell things separately? I have an Ocellaris clown, about 13 lbs LR, some zoanthids, star polyps, two large mushrooms, large Derasa clam, 9 misc snails and various lighting and filtration equipment. |

post it in as many forums as you can find on the net like this one.
Expect to get less than 1/2 your asking price....reefers are cheap on these forums.... |

I already have a good idea about where I'll advertise, I just wanted to know if its worth the effort to break it down into separate pieces, ie sell just the LR, just the clam, just the tank etc...

If it were me I'd leave it set up and sell the whole thing together. That way people will actuallly see what all they are getting and will be more likely to buy it. And then whoever buys it has the responsibility of moving it however they choose to do so...

You tend to get a little more money parting out, but usually you end up left with a few peices, and it is a lot more hassle. I would sell the whole thing together just to get it over with.

Thanks guys. I'll probably end up just selling it all together to avoid the hassle.
