Atlanta is probably going to be one of the best places to have MACNA. A) because I can drive, B) because the best aquarium in the 48 is there, and C) hopefully the braves will be stuck in a pennant race and D) there is so much other stuff to do when not at Macna, E) because it will be my first one

For anyone at MACNA XIX who saw Dr. Allen's presentation on Saturday evening, I believe the clip of the the group diving with Helium and chasing trying to catch the angel fish was some unedited footage from a show which aired on Discovery Channel over the weekend, Pacific Abyss. I caught part of the show and there was a scene with these same guys chasing fishes, but most of the dialogue was lost under the commentator's voice. I still had a good laugh though.

Yah, it was a short clip of the longer one we saw at MACNA

The dialogue was a big part of what made it so great IMO.

We just watched that last night on tivo, and I asked Greg, "Hey isn't this the same footage we saw at MACNA?!" Of course, Discovery Channel edited out the more, ah... colorful language.
