What all are you looking to have done each visit? I might be interested.

Rich,

I'm quite busy these days and do not have the time to maintain my tank... I would want someone to change 10% water, clean the sides and just make sure that things are going ok..

I can take care of daily routines but I need someone to come and do service every 2 weeks...

Thanks

Steve

Sorry to change topic im just thinking out loud here.

I always worried/wonder about what happens when tank has a problem and the owner blames the care taker and so on. I figured its got to be a tuff job and would be a problem if something went wrong like stuff just started to die. Like a tank crash. The owner wont be happy and couldnt help but think the care taker did something wrong, added something he shouldnt or didnt wash his hands. LFS do it all the time im sure this has happened.

That is a good point and many LFS charge a premium for it... as for me I will most probably supply the water and ask the person not to add any "stuff" in the aquarium!

This is the main reason why you hire a REPUTABLE professional. They have the experience, know how and most importantly carry the proper insurance to deal with such liabilities. It'll cost more but it gives you the peace of mind. You are hiring a service person so you can have the peace of mind that the tank's health is maintained. Why hire a kid off the street or LFS and still worry about the tank?

I dealt with kids and LFS workers before and was constantly disappointed. The biggest issue was reliability. They either don't show up, show late or don't always have what they need to properly service the tanks.

Good luck.

Email me if anyone is interested (serious) in servicing only ONE tank once every 2 weeks... I am willing to pay 40 dollars per service?

Thanks
