Eggcrate shelf ideas?

I'm going to DIY an egg crate shelf for my frags, since my lighting isn't good enough to reach the substrate sufficiently. Since this will be for my 5.5g, it dosen't need to be huge. So, how do ya'll think I should secure it the glass?

Thanks.

Check these out for some inspiration.

Some people use large mag-floats, too.

Yeah thanks, saw those. I think I'm gonna go with the magna float idea. Seems like the easiest and least technical one of them.

I built a big eggcrate shelf and it got covered with hair algae.

I have since replaced it with Acrylic & thrown out the eggcrate.

I built one last night that I use and is in my tank now. I have it held up with a small mag float glass cleaner till I can get to the store and get some magnets. You can make about 400 of them yourself for what they want for them online. Hell, $15 +shipping and I will build you one.

The large ones are only $20 online. I don't think thats all that bad... especially when they look good in black and not with magfloats on 'em... heh.
