Octopus is in Bermuda.

Paul Allen's mega yacht. It's here for a few months. Spends most of it's time hovering offshore. I'm sure you can find out info about it, but it has 2 helicopters, a submarine and many other things. The first pic shows the 60+ foot long runabout at the stern.

It's also over 400 feet long.

Well when you've made 40 billion dollars as the trusty sidekick of Bill Gates, eventually you run out of things to spend money on! That's really cool. When I was out in Washington my uncle flew me over Bill Gate's house. Well the general area where it is, it's pretty secluded. I think it has it's own zip code.

That one cost him $200 million. It requires a $20 million yearly operating budget. Minimum.

From Jeffreys link -

"Octopus cost Allen over US$200 million and has Permanent crew of 60, including several former Navy Seals. It has two helicopters, seven boats, a 10 man submarine and a remote controlled vehicle for crawling on the Ocean floor. The submarine has the capacity to sleep eight for up to two weeks underwater."

here is a pretty nifty pdf on it -
http://www.etsell.com/images/Octopuspp.pdf

Holds 224,400 gals of fuel.

Carrie - Can you imagine pulling up to the local marina and saying "Fill it up" and at $3/gal - thats a cool $750,000 for a fill up.
