I have a KRZR also, but I know a couple people that have broke that glass on the front when they dropped it. I keep mine in a holster in my purse. Never used the mp3 option tho.

What I like is I got to beat the wallpaper/ring tone crooks! Whatever I want, when ever I want...free.

Also, the camera has 8X zoom, exposure settings, and at 2 mpx it isn't bad once transfered to my computer. I always wanted to be like Dino and a few of the others with a camera...but I almost never have it with me. Always have my phone though.

Oh, that darn vibrate feature always makes me jump! That just ain't right!

I really like our new Verizon Voyagers. It has what you're looking for, and the microSD slot accepts up to 8GB cards. It doesn't do Wi-Fi, but the EVDO network is acceptable. By the sounds of it though, you're not too worried about internet. (I do like the browser though)

I almost got that one... but after much discussion with the sales associate I just went with the enV like the kids got. They told me how when you log onto your aim account through the mobile- well it will now cost you airtime for like every 15 minutes you pay like $1.99... I wonder just how many parents are unaware of this one!!! I see alot of lyssa's friends on their "mobile" alot!!!

I really do like the enV though- gonna get the music cables this weekend to download some music in there...

I'm not sure about AIM. Was it for data rate, or airtime? I know that without the unlimited data plan, it costs $1.99 per megabyte. It's free with the unlimited plan.

Can the KRZR sync up with Microsoft Outlook's Calendar? I'd like to not need to get any data plans in order to sync the phone to my calendar.

I'm not familiar with that. But you can exchange file via Bluetooth, so I would think that is possible.

I don't believe that a KRZR can synch w/ outlook calender. Not 100% on that.

The KRZR (and all similar Motorola phones) can sync Outlook calendar items, provided you buy the Motorola Phone Tools software package ($50 iirc) and get lucky. Some people have had weird problems with the sync tool, such as having all their calendar items end up on the same date on the phone.

There are also some 3rd party software tools that will let you do this, but nothing that I'm aware of that's free. Synccell will do it for $35.

I checked into it a little further. I've just been using the free email client on the Voyager, which can't sync to Outlook. Turns out there is a $20 client available that does sync to Outlook through the USB cable.

ummm- not sure but I think it was airtime charges... but I figured that we have unlimited texting and no chances of going over on that... so the aim thing isn't even a priority, I mean don't get me wrong it's a nice feature but if your going to get charged an arm and a leg for it then I'll stick with the texting ...

That was a major selling point for me!

Can you provide a link to this client?

I didn't find it on the Internet. It's available for download from my phone through the "Get It Now" menu, but it's called "Wireless Sync". A google search will probably yield some info.
