A small maxi-jet will do.

I use to use a small powerhead like a microjet. When that went out, I bought the aqualifter. Has been working flawlessly for 3 months now.

I like small submersible pumps over the aqualifter.

I think it depends on your reactor. I have a reeftek and tried feeding it with a microjet but was unable to get a consistent drip rate. I recently upgraded to a Maxijet 900 and now the drip rate is very consistent and stable. The instructions did say to use a MJ 1200 but I don't have an extra one of those so I'll try the MJ900 for a while.
