Other than a MILLION dang penalties(about 1/3 of which were total crap) we would have scored just as many points. The refs were clearly favoring the Pats, not calling TO as forced out but immediately giving Moss a TD when he never had control or his feet down.

I think we did show we are ready for prime time. I'm sure everyone thought blowout when we were down 14-0 and then was shaking when we took the lead in the 3rd quarter. Just couldn't get the Pats off the field on 3rd down. Not enough pressure and not good enough coverage. We get Tank Johnson and Anthony Henry back in 2 weeks so we will see what kind of difference they make if we meet again.

Even not playing so well we would have beat about 25 of the NFL teams yesterday, we just happened to run into the Pats who played their A game. We will be the NFC rep in the Superbowl and we'll see if NE can get by Pitt and Indy and play their A+ game against us again.

I have to disagree with you a little bit Sufunk. I think Moss had his feet down(his right foot was dragging all along), but I don't think he had control. I don't think the Cowboys played too badly. Their defense played well, and they kept the game close up until the end. Romo chokes a little when their backs are against the wall and throws his usual interception, but up until that last one at about 4 minutes left I thought they had a chance to come back and win that game.

That game was over before Romo threw that int. It would have taken another miracle to win and i doubt the Pats would have let us drive right down, score a td, get the onsides kick and score another td just to get it to overtime.

Moss didnt; have his feet down anywhere near before he had control. The refs just automatically gave Moss/Brady their TD just like they automatically didn't give TO his catch where he was clearly forced out.

Tank and Anthony Henry should make a big difference on D, so we'll see what happens.

It was the most exciting football game of the season and probably the year. Both teams brought their "A" game to the field. I saw a stat yesterday on SI.com that made me nervous. The Pats have never one in Texas Stadium, well ... until yesterday! WOOT!

Which is a good thing as it will give all you Chowds something to distract you from your Red Sox early exit from the playoffs!

The Patriots are an unstobbable rebel force. They will sweep through to the Super Bowl, and then blow out whoever the NFC sends en route to a World Championship.
...Then, after the game, they will storm into South America and invade Brazil. After a series of "blitzes" and "sacks," Brazil will be forced to turn over their most beautiful supermodels. The Pats will then bring the models back to the New England area and 2.3 million bricklayers will simultaneously file for divorce. I will get licensed to practice law there and make a fortune!!! Thank you New England Patriots. You truly live up to your moniker!!!

When is the last time the cowgirls won a super bowl? When is the last time the gators won a NC? Oh yeah last year. And sufunk, if you even pay attention to the trend this year with college football you would clearly know that this is the year of upsets and FLA could still get into a BCS game.

Yeah, good call I take it back, the insight.com bowl might not even want Florida with their record this year. Florida better hold on tight before they freefall right out of the top 25

That was a N.E. butt woopin. Nothing enjoyable/exciting about it...
unless you are a Pats fan.
And the cowgirls will not make the SB, let alone win it.

A lawyer in Florida is a Cowgirls fan? Uhhh, o.k.

AWWWWW, a eagles fan is cranky, how cute! Let's see how close the eagle's come to beating the Pat's.

Remind me again, how many superbowls have the eagles won??? Don't worry, i'm sure Kolb will win you one

I wonder if any Indy fans are willing to make the same wager with bat that sufunk made with him?

I'm already down w/ bat when the Steelers take on the Pats.

I'm a huge Indy fan and I know that this will be a tough game. Of course, the Pats haven't been challenged, yet. Bob Sanders is going to have the game of his life.

Despite the final score, we challenged them for sure. We were winning in the 3rd quarter and it was certainly still a game well into the 4th quarter. I don't know that any team has been even close to them in the 2nd half much less winning other than us.
