RSM Filter Question

Hi Folks!

I am setting up a new RSM and I have been reading that people have been discarding the the bio porcelain rings that come with the tank and using LR rubble instead. How many pounds of rubble do I need to do this? Thanks!

get rid of all the mechanical filteration. carbon, bio rings, filter pads. just fill it about half way up the section. about 1-2 pounds

Think twice before removing all mechanical filtration...

Mechanical filtration is a cheap, useful and very efficient tool and you will possibly need it in the future.

My 0.02 US$...
