Zoo Problem

I have some Eagle Eyes that had gotten knocked around lately by a couple Hermits. I see on a couple of poylps som discoloration on the Polyp surface, as well as a few tentacles that are shruken and discolored in a few areas. All of the polyps are open, and well colored (except for the ones mentioned) There are also some cloudy spots on the same polyps. did their tissue just get damaged and will heal? should I be worried about fungal infection even thought the polyps are open? Thanx!

zoa's change there color often. That may be all it is, unless the spot is swollen or fuzzy.

Useally the fungas hits (starts) on the underside and eats entire polyp quickly. Then spreads to several within a day or so.

take your finger (or something) and rub it gently and see if comes off.

as far as the tenicles, that looks like something may have nibbled on it. At night watch with a small flashlight.

what critters ya got in there?

im pretty sure the tentacles got damaged during a fall while the polyps were still open. (my fault). I only have blue legs, a red leg, and a mexican hermit--(supposed to be reef safe) i know there are bristle worms and all the other sand critters. I have seen some of those brown white checkered snails that were in the recent thread, but they dont seem to go anywhere near my zoos. I will try to rub the spot and see if it is fuzzy or swollen etc.

brown and white snail that have a flat shape (verses a cone shape like turbo) may be sundial snail. They eat zoa's. Get a pic of one.
