TDS Meter 2-Pack $9.99 + $5 shipping

TDS Meter 2-Pack $9.99

Woot has their 2 for Tuesday special and its a water tester. IntelliTEC Digital Water Purity Tester - 2 Pack
$9.99 + $5.00 shipping

I just bought two. I have no idea how good these tds testers are but seems worth the risk.

Good luck. Woot expires when its sold out or 11:59pm CST the next day.

Anyone know if these meters can be recalibrated if necessary? I was reading somewhere that TDS meters for aquarium use should be calibrated with 1382 ppm/KCI TDS solution. I'm guessing that this calibration allows the meter to give more finer readings? Can someone please shed some light on this?

How is a tds meter suppose to tell you if their is asbestos in the water or not? The info is kinda silly but good buy.

Lucky you didnt buy it. Heard a few sites pointing that these are inaccurate
For Example:
