well, whats the consentious should I get Formalin or just double dose Formalite I? If Formalin is the way to go would you pick me up two bottles and ship to your neighbor in Mi? I would of course pick up all costs and even a bottle for you.

I've never used formalin but if its really outlawed now you'll want to tell me if you want it asap before its gone. Just pick up the cost and shipping and I'll be glad to get them for you. Just so we are clear it says "formalin 3" on the bottle.

Formalin 3 is a lower concentration than the 27 percent that is becoming scarce. I'm not sure if Formalin 3 will be outlawed as well, but it is much more dilute...

Why are you treating your seahorses with formalin?

If the horses are not sick they do not need to be subjected to formalin. Medications are meant to treat disease and should not be used without a good reason. I would not treat them with formalin. I stopped using it quite awhile ago. It is toxic and a carcinogen.

If you are worried about parasites you would be better off treating them in hyposalinity for 4 to 6 weeks than using formalin.
