HOB refugium kit - opinions please

Anyone use or seen one of these in use?

My understanding is that this guy sends out precut acrylic panels. You will need to glue it together yourself.

From what I read and understand they will make you a filter -refugium or anything special for that matter. Either their standard sizes or custom sized to your dimensions. Sounds good to me IF and I repeat IF you are comfortable with assembly yourself. I made my sump and it was not that difficult. If you are all thumbs I would say forget it!

I'm not worried about the assembly. Just wasn't sure about the design. LL the exit flow is gonna suck in a ton of air and create bubbles in the tank.

Refugiums are supposed to have a SLOW flow thru them so I would not think that would be a problem.

Sorry if I wasn't clear... it looks like the out flow into the display will not be fully covered with water so it will end sucking in some air causing bubbles in the display.
