Advantage to mangroves?

I am setting up my new 120 reef and was thinking about growing some mangroves in my sump. Could someone tell me what I need to grow them? From what I have read you can float them with stryofoam but that might be wrong. What type of light do I need on them and what should the photoperiod be?

What benefits do mangroves provide?

Any online mangroves vendors?

Thanks
YT

Grow them if you like how they look.

Macro is better at nutrient export

water changes are better at nurtrient export

Buy Rhizophora mangle pods from www.banana-tree.com

I have grown thousands of mangroves, so if you have anymore questions.....

To answer your question, they need bright light, lots of room to grow upwards, and a deep sand bed filled with nutrients.
