Who has been to Fish for You in San Mateo?

Was it a nice store? Are the animals healthy? Do they have good selection?

I second the positive opinion about Ultimate. Fish For You gets some interesting things but it is rare and you just have to catch it at the right time. They do have good prices on dry goods though.

Thats good, I'm looking for some dry goods that are priced crazy over at Ultimate. I do like Ultimate though, I was looking to buy a Jaw fish once and they wouldnt sell me the one they had because it didnt look healthy.

i Have had great succes with ultimate's fish and corals. My advice for dry good is petsmart with those cupons they are sending out. 5 dollars of every 10 is pretty good. I also got a 5 dollar gift card in the mail.

well, the only thing with ultimate is that they are sort of over priced in most areas as already mentioned. Fish for you, whats to say... they're coral selection is OK. Not the best corals, only easy ones(shrooms, zoas), sometimes sps (millepora colonies as of now). Dont expect much from the employees, they dont know much on saltwater. What are you looking for Rurouni Kenshin, i can tell you if fish for you stocks it (i work there)

I'm looking to get a *Reef Safe* Ich Cure. Preferably Chem-Marin's Stop Parasite.

I go to Fish for You for my dry goods and some fish now and then.

I like the owner and he has been in that location for at least 20 years.

Rurouni Kenshin, Were is your Audio shop? I want to get some door speakers for my 04 GTO.

Sometimes I'll install the systems in my driveway, sometimes I go to the peoples houses. I've installed many Subwoofers, Dash kits, Door speakers, Amps, and other things too. Unfortunatly I havent made enough money to open my own shop...Yet So in that case I guess its really not my Occupation, but I am good at it.

yup...Fish for You has been in buisness for 15 years now. But just to warn you, parking in the complex that were located in is a bare.

I was not impressed with the "fish jerk" attitude of the employees at Ultimate. But they do have very high prices if you are into that.

Just my opinion.

I recently tried Ich Attack from Kordon which I bought from Steve at Lucky Ocean. It says it is reef safe. It smells like a garlic based steak sauce. The ingredients include Naphthaquinone which sounds like a quinine derivative. None of my invertebrates showed any distress from it and it seems to have worked after about 10 days. Most of the things I have tried in the past either killed invertebrates or didn't really work at all. This one is well worth a try.
