OK to mount ballasts in stand?

I just received my lighting setup - will I be OK to mount these ballasts in my stand without worry of too much heat?

Two Icecap 660's for my T5's
Three 250w electronic ballasts for my HQI MH's

Tank's a 125 - stand has a pretty open back. I'm planning on mounting fans in the stand for daytime air movement if needed.

Will I have heat problems? Or problems with the ballasts due to moisture/humidity buildup?

I have seen a bunch of stands with ballasts in them. Icecaps get a little warm but if you have a fan blowing air in the stand and an open back it should help shed the heat. Just mount them where salt mist or water splashing will be very low or not at all.
Other options would be on the back of the stand, off to the side or even on top of the canopy. Like they say heat kills so just keep them in an area that will allow cool air around them.
I have mine in a box next to my small tank and in a cabinet next to my large tank.
