It's Time ......

Well ladies and gentlemen.....

The time has come for me to bow out too. I know, I know, hold the shock and awe to a
dull roar.

The tank is located in Champaign and the 55g is located in Hammond ( near Tuscola ).

Based on response I'm thinking I might do an open house thing this saturday or next,
so everyone can come get their stuff at once. I wanted to offer if up to the CIMA peeps first
before it went in the selling forum. This is not a complete list of everything.
Please no holds or delivery, I can accept cash or money order.

Pics -
Changed some since the pics:

Too bad that you are leaving!

I would be interested in one of the blastos, the moon and one magfloat 30.
I know that you aren't doing any holds, but not sure if you're your letting people get in "dibs"
Let me know when you are ready to have the open house.

With that said, I'm interested in the following:

thin birds nest,
10# CO2 tank
white garbage can - food grade
and possibly some acro or stag frags...

Thnxs, Everyone please post to the thread which items you'd like. It will be easier to keep track that way.

This Saturday will likely be the pickup day, but not sure yet.

Oh and by holds I meant me hanging on to things for people for weeks. If you want it let it be known in the thread and that will hold it. If waiting untill SAturday doesn't work for anyone I can work out arrangements individually.

I've never done this before so I'm kinda flyin byt he seat of my pants here. Not to mention this is an emotional parting of ways for me.

epon...I am sad to see you are getting out (for now). On the bright side...you have some of the most amazing corals that I have seen and it will be a great opportunity for some of the new people to pick-up beautiful specimens.

webbstock and I will probably roll over together this Saturday, if that is when you will be having people over.

I would like to see the "Open Brain some old damange to side" and the "Caulestrea" (what color is it?)

Does your Mandarin take prepared food?

Say the word and the whole thing is yours ! :P

I'm bummed too, but hopefully the animals will bring as much joy and frustration to someone as they have me.

I'll update the list tomorrow with who has what.
Any of the hard to catch critters will need to wait untill I get some of the coral and rock moved out. The equipment will obviously need to wait untill animals are gone and we can arrange a pickup.

In my dreams this will all go to new homes smoothly, with as little disruption to the animals as possible. Ideally I'll reach a point of selling off the corals when I can remove the rock and catch the fish and shrimp. Periclemnes is MIA, not supprisinly.

Thanks all.

If everything goes as planned, we're a go for noon on Saturday. Anyone wishing to show up is welcome. I will have my surplus equipment out on tables in the garage also. Please pm for the address if you dont have it.

Charging up the battery now with the intention of firing off the last set of pics and maybe a .MOV or two. :crosses fingers face:

Thanks all

Maybe you should get an aquarium. I hear they can be real theuropetic.
Maybe get a spell checker, too.

My faith in humanity is shaken. Not that it was doing that good to start with. If someone like you can flame out, what hope is there for we mere mortals?

So who's going to get the nicest stand in the Greater C/U area?
