Tang compatability.
Question. I currenty have a scopas tang (appr. 2 inches long). Will it be compatible with a regal tang?

Tangs are very tricky... all depends on how long the scopas has been in there. If you will get a regal then make sure it is bigger. But since its a zebrasoma and looks totally different than a regal, Im sure everything would be alright.

Well, I believe that the regal is bigger, I haven't seen it in awhile. But my scopas has been in there awhile as the main man. I got a cowfish about a year ago and the tang immediately spiked the cow into submission. my gut tells me that it won't work. just wondering (hoping) I'm wrong.

yes it will be compatible, but a 55 is too small for a regal tang. They get longer than your tank is wide, they won't be able to turn around in that tank. Upgrade to at least a 90 and you can keep one.
