Has anyone ever delt with NYAquatic? -$25 Picasso Clowns

I just ordered a Picasso Clownfish from them that was $25. It didn't seem right to me, so I called him up and asked a few questions about what they looked like to make sure he hadn't mistaken them for something else. And sure enough the description he was giving me sounded pretty much what they look like, and sounded valid. So I went a head and ordered one. And have paid an EXTRA $9.50 for shipping because it let me select anything other than priority over night, but what con you do

So I figured for $25 I'll take a shot and see what I get, so we shall see.

The order is supposed to come in on Saturday via Fedex, so I'll make sure to post pics

BTW: He has 8 of them left- it was 9

I've purchased from them several times and every time I get everything super healthy and eating 5 minutes after being introduced to the tank. Their prices are superb and shipping is dirt cheap, can't beat it, IMO.

For the clown it was around (just under $10), which, for ordering fish, is not bad at all. And like most things in this hobby, if I like the quality, then I will be ordering more often, as it is cheaper (gas price wise) and is very convenient.

I ordered some lyretail anthias and a couple of fish from them and was pretty happy with the quality and price.

I've been to his location and ordered for delivery. His prices are superb (plus the cheapo shipping option.) My experience with health has been on the lower side, but as long as you're QTing there shouldn't be any issue. Just like other wholesalers, he uses copper in low levels (or at least did over the winter time) so make sure you don't let any of the water into your reef system.

Unfortunately, you will be slightly disappointed. They are not like the ORA Picassos.
I saw them on Thursday when I went to pick up a Regal angel.

Yeah, of course I did. What I said did before did not mean I was upset with pecan. And I am sorry if anyone took it that way.

According to the Stamford Fedex adviser: ETA- Before 5pm I am hoping it will get here much earlier

Well, she doesn't looking anything like (as of now) an ORA picasso. She looks more like a Ture Perc. misbar clown. But she is a juv. so she has a little ways to grow before her bars become their permanent shape, and she gets all of her back coloration. But otherwise I was happy. She is healthy and alert so I can't really complain. I have yet to feed her and see her eat as I haven't tried to feed her (arrived at lights out). But, yeah, I am happy.

There is only one complaint- I would have like to have seen her packed with more water than she was as it was about 4 cups total for a 26 hour transport time. -just my opinion.

I will post pics tomorrow when the lights on my nano-cube switch on. You guys can see her then

Brother, I don't mean to be an alarmist, but am I trippin' or is there a bit of excess slime on her side in this picture? Look along the dorsal fin. I have dealt with brooklynella and amyloodinium before. So, I get a little concerned when I see things like this. Hopefully it's just the way the light's hitting it.
