Are green chromis and blue-green chromis compatible?

Hello!

I purchased a green chromis a few weeks ago from an LFS and was wondering if I bought a few blue-green chromis if they are compatible and will school together with the green or if they will battle?

Thanks

green and blue/green are the same I thought, just named differently depending on which store they're at? I know there are blue chromis that are different but they will get along with blue-greens and will sometimes even shoal together.

they're a different species. the blue-green(C. atripectoralis) has black at the inner portion of the pectoral fins and attains a slighly larger size than the green (C. viridis).

i have at least 1 green with 4 blue-green..i'll see which one tends to hang by itself and let you know.
