Discoloration on Black Tang
This is picture of him right after I purchased him 6 weeks ago. I should have looked at the fish closer prior to purchase, my mistake. He is 20% better now. Also notice how the front overally color is slightly ligher then the back. I've been giving him VitaChem and Selcon in his food daily. Mainly the diet consists of Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula Prime Reef, and another kind of Formula flake food. What else can I do, to speed it up? Thanks! Jason |

make sure to feed your tang because when hungry my purple tang turns from dark purple to light pale purple color.

I do not know if in this case is valid but my Achilles changes coloration with the mood. At night, when he is relaxed, want to be fed or want a clean from the shrimps he will pale up so his body turns grey (from totally balck) and his belly also from black to almost white. When he is being protective of something, flashing off or simply fighting with his image we turns completely black and the fins take a deep orange redish color.
