Question Am I Crazy?

Am I crazy for not putting a filter on my tiny 2.5 gallon nano that only has Live Rock, Sand and a small Peppermint shrimp

nope. as long as the bio load is low and you change some of the water often there shouldn't be a problem. do you have a powerhead in there?

Well, you better be a little crazy or you won't enjoy reefing. Heck no, you don't need no stinking "filter" just some live rock and water movement. Keep up with the H2O changes and you'll be fine

If you can install a small filter in your nano just for mechanical filtration purpose, you will get clearer water and better overall conditions, if you do not slack on cleaning it, of course...

Passing on this cheap and efficient added goodness and safety net should be considered "crazy"? I am inclined to think so...
