Gauging Interest: New Dolphin Pumps FS

I have access to two new Dolphin pumps. One is a Dolphin Aqua Sea 2700 and the other is a 3650. I am thinking $200 plus shipping for the 2700 and $280 plus shipping for the 3650. Am I underselling? Opinions first, buyers later. If you wish to extend both in the same post or PM, you may do so. I won't know access for a few days. Likewise, someone wants to meet me in B-ton, Pekin, or Peoria, we can eliminate shipping.

Peace

Kevin

assuming new and in box, seems like a deal.

off topic,... did they ever fix those seals on dolphins? years ago those amp masters were hailed as the best pump until everyone had one and all of them blew seals.

Are these TMR pumps by chance?

I know TMR had larger Dolphin pumps and the seals went out on three of the 4 after 3-4 months.

Nice catch, Brad! I am trying to work creatively with these guys to get my investment back. If the pumps have that bad a history, I guess it's back to the drawing board as I obviously cannot provide a warranty. I had thought that being able to sell a couple of pumps would almost get me paid off.

Any ideas?

Peace

fwiw, I was just looking at something online about Dolphin pumps,
and there was a mention of a "saltwater reverse seal" or something.
The implication was that the pumps had a seal that would provide
years of saltwater service.

Again, fwiw, and does not necessarily have anything to do
with these particular pumps.

Your whole ordeal points out the positive of making at
least major purchases via credit card, just for a little
buyer protection.

Good Luck.

wow. i'm sorry to hear you have to sell goods for a non-existant company to merely get your own money back. i'm kind of taken back by that whole thought. heh.

Couple of points:

1. I offered to see if I could catch a deal with some folks in order to get my money back. I could wait until they get cash flow. There is however no way to guarantee when that will be. If I can get the money soon, I can have my stuff soon.

2. No, I have not been able to contact Guy. I ran an alternate route with one of the other investors.

3. Bad form on the lowball price, Brad.

4. Never hurts to look for creative solutions to problems. The folks who were in TMR lost their shirts. Rather than put them through any additional cash loss, it's just as easy to encourage them to liquidate leftover drygoods to settle current outstanding debt. Then again, there's nothing creative about that as every company entering bankruptcy has to do that to some extent.

Peace

I really feel sorry for you guys who are going through trouble with this situation. So he just gave you the pumps rather than your money back ? Did he have anything you actually needed or wanted instead?

No, I don't have the pumps in my possession. I pointed out to the person I'm working with that they have more than enough leftover dry goods that a concerted effort would yield sufficient monies to deliver my goods or my money. I offered to see if there was any interest on the board in a couple of pumps. I'm tired of waiting for them to do what's right, so I'm essentially doing what I can to get my gear and move on. I don't mean them any disrespect, but I have been very patient. I'm all about creative and innovative solutions in my work, so I'm doing what I can to do so here.

And yes, Brad, that means no way, no how, not ever for $100. ;-)

Besides, if the pump was that bad, why would you wast $100?

Peace

Yes, Brad, I have. Have you ever heard of good money after bad? I honestly believe that I am going to get what's due me. I prefer to do such in a way that is edifying to all. Call it an occupational hazard. Others might call it a weakness. I call it spiritual discipline. ;-)

Ok, how about $110?

You've been way more patient than probably anyone else
here would have been. Guess maybe it goes with the
territory.

Have you gotten any info on the general failure (that you'ld
be willing to share)?
