Lost my clowns to RBTA

I bought a RBTA 5 days ago. I placed it at the front of the tank, and of course it moved to the back of my tank behind the live rock. My 2 baby black & white clowns started hosting in it on the first day. They used to be swimming all over the tank, and they would devour as much food as I would put in the tank and always be searching for more food.

As soon as they started hosting in the RBTA, I never see them anymore. They stay behind the rock, and very rarely leave the RBTA. They barely even eat anymore, they leave most of the food floating around and just go back in the RBTA. Is this normal?

That is what hosting clowns do.. stay in the host. Once the RBTA gets used to the tank and comes out in the open, you will see your clowns again

Congrats on the purchase btw.

Yep, that's what hosting is all about. They'll get the food they need, but they're going to be hanging close to their new home.

Ok, thanks for the info.

Should I try feeding the RBTA yet? The LFS said to wait a few days before feeding it because it would be stressed.

I would just be excited that they took to a host so quickly ... Everything will work itself out naturally...
