How did you mount your pendant?

I have a small tank so I built a hood and cut a rectangle the shape of my pendant one top in the middle. The hood is only 4" high, inside are 2 PCs, one front one back (still wanted the dusk-dawn effect) and the MH shines through the middle. The MH just sits on top of the hood with a frame I built. Works good, light stays cools since the fixture is outside of the hood and it was cheap. I did this because I was getting sick of light splash on the walls and the floor.

I have hung them from the cealing, and mounted some from wall brakets and mounted them inside a hood.......I prefer mounting them from the cealing if possible.

There's really nothing to it, just something I through together. My plan it to build a new stand I and canopy together. But I'm going to wait until I redo my floor. I don't want to take down my tank unless I really have to. So this is just temporary.

Daylight 10k . I'm trying to get better growth, so far so good. I know my par reading went up 80 points with the T-5's

This is another way it can be done. I have a few tanks with pendants and I have done this and used L brackets to mount them in a canopy. Both work very well.

so the t5's made a big difference even with them being mounted so high up. Maybe I'll consider switching my PC actinics to T5's
