diy coral plugs

anyone know how to make the coral plugs used to mount frags? I want to make ones like the ones they use when you get the bali aquacultured coral. Any ideas? I'm not worried about the shape. I just want the recipe and where to go to get the material locally.

Go to:
www.garf.org
Click on "How To Pages" in the left column. Then click on the link for Aragacrete to see instructions for making the mixture. Then go to the "Misc Pages" to see instructions for making plugs using a piece of drilled wood as a mold. The nice thing about Aragacrete is you can make your own live rock. I have enough for a new 55g that I'm putting in our basement gameroom. Just remember that you need to cure them until the pH comes into range. For reef plugs, just drop them into the tank or tanks of toilets in your house. Each time you or someone flushes, you change the curing water. For larger sculpted live rock, you'll need to use something larger for curing.

I saw someone was using plastic drywall anchor sleeves. these were the self-tapping kind, of course without the screw. I don't know if this is large enough for you though.
