Sand bed colour

i am thinking of puttin Tahitian moon sand as my sandbed. I have been wondering will this affect my fish? having a black sand bed instead of a pinkish white or normal sand colour? Does the colour change the behaviour and their comfort levels?

Does the colour really matter, besides of looks?

How do you know? Maybe the fish appreciate good feng shui

I have the black moon sand in my tank. It's beautiful, makes colors pop. It's ok for fish. The sand size is big and it's very rough. It can irritate many coral. And it does not supply some calcuim that normal white sand does.

I think the consistency of the sand is more important to the tank than the color. I have a black substrate though.
