Reef Safe Chemical List for DIYer's

I think that it'd be very beneficial for us to develop a list of "substances/chemicals" that have proven to be reef safe, when utilized for DIY projects.

Glues for fragging and other applications, silicones, paints, magnets, foams could be included.

Anyways, just a thought.

Also, listing your application of the substance, would be helpful.

Guess I'll start this off...

Superglue Gel (of course) for attaching rockwork and/or frags

100% Silicone without mold or mildew inhibitor

Plumbers Silicone Grease, used to lubricate threads or fittings that need to come apart on a regular basis.

Krylon Fusion spray paint. Used to paint PVC fittings that need to look nice inside the tank

I'm sure there's more but I won't take them all

I agree with Krylon paint. I've had some in my tank for 6+ years without any problems.

Portland Type II cement for agrocrete rocks is another.
