there wun be a need esp when u are towering it at the back... cos u cant even reach in... lol

most of the time algae will grow at the back.... to prevent an algae outburst, be sure not to place ur tank near direct sunlight... and also get some algae eating fish and clean up crew... let them clean it up for u

Y bother. this is my theory if i can see the back now it's going to be covered anyways. Also if i get coralline alge(The same stuff that grows on my LR) it ok to me!

I don't clean the back or the sides. For some reason the back stays almost perfectly clean, but the sides are getting a little nasty. I may end up cleaning them eventually. The funny thing is that I have coralline covering my overflow, but only a tiny little bit on the glass. I found out the it is true that coralline prefers acrylic to glass because my acrylic refuge is covered all over and it only has 20w of light (22 gallon).

Can't wait until coraline covers my back glass... it'll hide my 'Rube Goldberg' plumbing.
