Stress Guard Safe in Reef Tank?

I had to remove a spotted hawkfish from my tank yesterday that had begun to pick on a mimic tang. The dorsal and tail fin of the tang are a little torn up. My LFS gave me a bottle of SeaChem Stress Guard and advised using it in my tank. I do not have a quarantine tank and wanted to make sure it would be safe to put in my main reef tank for a few days. I posted this on the SeaChem forum but realize it may not be answered until tomorrow and I would like to start the treatment today.
