Where to buy Acrylic Pieces

Where can I find acrylic pieces? I want to get a few pieces to make a light stand. I am currently using metal pieces, but it is starting to rust. Anyone have any ideas? it's for a tek light and I dont want to pay 60 bucks for their stand. thanks.

Home Depot sells large and small acrylic pieces as well, usually in the windows section.

I've been to Paragon in Santa Ana and El Monte and Plastic Depot in Gardena. The El Monte store seemed to have slightly cheaper prices than Santa Ana if I recal correctly. Plastic Depot is more expensive than Paragon but the service there is much better and the staff more knowledgable than Paragon.

Plastic depot will also do basic cuts for free whereas Paragon will want to charge you for everything unless you know them or they feel sorry for you and you explain that this is a school project.

Most scrap peices at Paragon is $2/lb at Plastic Depot it's $3/lb last time I was at either places a few months ago.

Go to plastics depot, over near jeff's exotic. Great prices, and they are really fair. I gave the wrong dimensions for a piece they cut for me for my fuge... and they replaced with a new piece (right dimensions) for free!
